Driving Directions for English Dances
at Titusville United Methodist Church
(for the LCD's first Friday English dances):

From I-95 southbound (from New Jersey):

take the last exit in New Jersey, before the Delaware River, onto Route 29 north. * Go straight through the traffic light at Route 546 (Washington Crossing). At the next traffic light, Church Road, turn right (east) and right again up a steep driveway to the Education Building behind the church.

From I-95 northbound (from Pennsylvania):

take the first exit in New Jersey (immediately after crossing the Delaware River) onto Route 29 north and proceed from *.

From Lambertville:

go about 4 miles south on Route 29 and turn left at the traffic light at Church Road (this is the first light after you leave Lambertville), then turn right up the driveway.

From Pennington (the simpler way):

take Pennington/Washington Crossing Road (County Route 546) west from the Pennington Circle until you reach Route 29, turn right at the traffic light, and go north to the next light, which is Church Road; turn right and then right again up the driveway.

From Pennington (the "back way"):

take Delaware Avenue west out of town, through the traffic light at Route 31. Just over a mile from Route 31, the road makes a 90-degree turn to the left, and 0.1 mile later, turns 90 degrees to the right as another road joins it from the left. (It's like a T intersection; you go right, but you don't have to stop.) The road you're on is now called Pennington-Titusville Road. About 2 miles after these sharp turns, you'll come to a T intersection with a stop sign.

Turn right at the stop sign onto Bear Tavern Road (Route 579); then, after a quarter mile or so, turn left onto Church Road. About 0.8 miles along Church Road, it intersects at a strange angle with another road. To stay on Church Road, bear to the left a bit, but don't turn left or right. Follow the road around lots of curves until you approach the traffic light at Route 29. The church driveway, which is just before the traffic light, 2.0 miles from Route 579, comes up quickly and you might miss it the first time. Watch out for deer, especially at night. This route is best tried first in the daylight with someone who's been there before.
