Dances will be minimally taught and prompted. The Fling program is designed for experienced English country dancers. “Experienced” means that you know well the standard figures of English country dancing. You can skillfully execute casts and leads, gates, single and double figures of eight, standard and draw poussettes, as well as all manner of heys (circular, mirror and dolphin). You are on time for each move, can assist your partner and neighbor, and can recover quickly from mistakes — while having fun!
Covid safety requirements for admission to the dance:
-
Masks: Optional
-
Vaccinations: Vaccinations and recent boosters strongly recommended but not required.
-
Covid tests not required

Please continue to monitor our main website for general PCD safety policies, but we do not anticipate any major changes in the near future.
